This week has been really cold in the morning and evenings but warming up to mid to high 70’s during the day.

It has been a bit slower around town this week. It usually is between labor day and when most people think Oktoberfest starts in October but it actually starts the last 2 weeks of September. I worked in the Village RE/MAX office yesterday and there are a lot of people walking around the Village. The Village is the place to be if there is nothing to do, that is for sure. The building right next door to my office is a candle store where you make your own candles that are scented or colored and can burn a few minutes of time if that is what you are looking to do.

Market update: The market is still going strong with 613 homes on the market in all of Big Bear Valley. Over the last 7 days 18 homes have closed escrow. Congratulations to my seller and buyer of 475 Thrush #56 for being one of the 18! Over the last 7 days 39 homes have gone in to escrow. There are currently 68 homes that are over $1 million and 2 homes under $150,000. If your looking for a mobile home and don’t mind paying a park space rent fee then you can find one for under $100k. I am getting ready to list one that is one block from the Village, 3 beds, 2 baths at Big Bear Mobile Estates #33. Very well maintained for only $79,900. Let me know if you would like more info.
